NAEVR and AEVR Boards Elect New Director
(Washington, D.C.) On March 11, the Board of Directors of each the National Alliance for Eye and Vision Research (NAEVR) and the Alliance for Eye and Vision Research (AEVR) elected a new Director to serve in the class of 2020-2023.
Michael Robinson, MD, Vice President and Global Therapeutic Area Head for Ophthalmology at Allergan, Inc., was elected, replacing Yehia Hashad, MD, Allegan’s Senior Vice President and Head of Global Clinical Development, who served on each of the Boards from 2015-2020.
“The Boards of each NAEVR and AEVR thank Dr. Hashad for his five years of service as a Director and wish him the best in his expanded role at Allergan,” said NAEVR Executive Director James Jorkasky.
