
The FY2008 National Defense Authorization Act authorized the establishment within the DOD of a Military Eye Trauma Center of Excellence and Eye Trauma Registry (VCE), however no directed funding was included in the FY2009 DOD appropriations. NAEVR supports funding the VCE at a level of $6.8 million within the FY2010 DOD Appropriations. More information about the VCE is below, or you can read the VCE's information brochure here.
